Shipping & Returns

PAYMENT:

Payment on all orders will be taken by a valid credit card on file and will be charged prior to shipping( Visa, MC or AMEX ) Sorry, NO open accounts.

SHIPPING:

All orders will be shipped accordingly using UPS or Fed Ex Ground. For larger orders or multiple packages we would prefer to palletize and use a freight/trucking company of our choice. Please call for a quote on pallets or any other method of shipping. Alaska, Hawaii and Canada should call first for best shipping methods.

Cancellations:

For any cancel of orders, it must be done prior to item being shipped out. All cancellation of orders, MUST be requested by written email to Cadlights.com. and a RMA# will be generated for processing that cancellation. Once item has been shipped out, it is customers responsibility to receive the shipment, request a RMA # (if one has not been already issued) from Cadlights.com. and ship back to our warehouse via appropriately insured method. Shipping fees for both to and from are the responsibility of the customer if item has been shipped out. If item hasnt been shipped out, Aquarium packages require a 15% restocking fee that is applied. This is due to the fact that aquarium packages are fragile, and require substantial labor and cost to prepare for shipping.

RETURNS, TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

ALL returns must be called in and email to obtain an RA # prior to return shipping and must be written on the outside of the shipping box. ANY returns sent without an RA # will not be accepted and will be refused. It is the sole responsibility of the customer for the return to be packaged properly and shipped via an insured method back to Cadlights.com. There will also be an additional 15% restocking fee for all returned or cancelled orders. Shipping charges is non-refundable.

REFUNDS:

If the item has not shipped yet, there will be a 5% processing and handling fee on the order. For all Aquariums and Artisan series packages a 15% restocking fee is applied This is due to the fact that most orders need preparations, building, custom packaging, Credit card transaction fees, packing and ordering of some supplies that go into the package prior to it being ready for shipment. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

SHORTAGES/DAMAGED SHIPMENTS:

PLEASE OPEN AND INSPECT ALL PACKAGES AND MERCHANDISE UPON ARRIVAL. Inspection report of physical damage is invalid if aquarium is filled with water or put into use such as chips, scratches etc. (excludes leaks or joint failure which is fully warrantied). Even if there is no outside damage on the shipping carton, this is to check for any concealed damage. Cadlights.com. must be notified within 24hrs after receipt of your order for any shortages or damages. ALL shipments are fully insured so it is important to keep all packing and shipping cartons in case of any inspections required by the carrier. All damages will be replaced by the same item at the discretion of Cadlights.com. Sorry, NO subs on damaged items. Non-visible or issues that do not affect the performance or durability of the product is not eligible for replacement.

DEFECTIVE ITEMS:

Cadlights.com. will provide a limited warranty for one year on the craftsmanship, seams and joints of the aquariums and circuitry of our products from the original date of purchase. This warranty DOES NOT include Physical damage to the aquarium glass itself, bulbs or internal pumps. Nor does the warranty imply or cover abuse, misuse, tampering, modifications or improper installation of any product manufactured by Cadlights.com. Returns on defective items must also call to obtain a RA # before shipping and must be sent via insured method. Items found to be defective shall be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Cadlights.com. all defective claims MUST be supported by dated photos and original purchase invoice. Cadlights.com. will then cover the defective part and we will prepare one for you at no charge for the replacement, customer will only be responsible for shipping charges.
